Coronavirus affects Facebook and YouTube!
As a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Facebook and YouTube made changes in order to protect their employees worldwide. We will give you a short overview about some of them. For further information use the integrated links.

- Videos which are already submitted for monetization must pass a Brand Safety-Check.
- Until further notice no monetization for new uploaded non-English language videos.
- Existing content that is monetized is not affected.
- Already published videos with In-Stream Ads still earn money.
- There may be a delay in the review process if you want submit a new page for monetization.
- Facebook is increasingly using automated systems. This can lead to error messages. But you can appeal.

- YouTube has to adjust their bandwidth usage in the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland to standard definition.
- You must expect delays in your application for the YouTube Partner Program (YPP).
- The monetization of COVID-19-related content will be rolled out as a gradual process.
- YouTube´s automatic system makes the job for video reviewers. This means videos are removed from the system without being checked by a human. You can appeal!
- Community posts are temporarily unavailable on some channels.
